SBR is a general purpose rubber with very good abrasion resistance, meaning it can withstand wear and tear friction caused by mechanical parts as well as the effects caused by repetitive scraping or rubbing. SBR also shows very good water resistance and has good dynamic properties. The service temperature range of SBR is typically between -40 to 90ºC.
