Product: D-ring

D-rings are alternative rings for O-rings and have the same sealing characteristics as an O-ring. Different from an O-ring, a D-ring has a flat surface that ensures better stability. A D-ring can fit in grooves that are for O-rings and fills in the gap when squeezed. Our selection of D-rings comply with highly recognized DIN 11851 standard from Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN).

Material: EPDM

EPDM seals are suitable to be used in processes that involve steam, hot water, chemicals, and electrical industry. EPDM exhibits very good resistance towards ozone, oxygen, good to excellent resistance towards heat and irradiation, against aqueous systems, polar media and a range of acidic and alkaline chemicals. EPDM is typically preferred for outdoor applications and applications at elevated temperatures. EPDM cannot be used in service with aliphatic solvents, gasoline and oil due to its poor resistance towards aliphatic/aromatic hydrocarbons and ASTM oils. The service temperature range of EPDM is approximately between -35 to +120ºC.
